Tough break-ups

Stan has a question about dumping his broad.

Yo man...I've been dating this girl for a couple years, but she's really starting to piss me off and I wanna break it off with her. But I kinda feel trapped and she's goin through a rough time. Should I hang in and hope it gets better?

Answer: Abso-f*cking-lutely not. Why sit there and be miserable voluntarily if you don't have to? Yeah, it always sucks when a long-term relationship comes to an end, but seriously...it's like the question I just answered about being in a marriage where you're totally miserable -- why bother? If you don't have a kid with this girl and you have nothing legally holding you back from doing it, then just do it. I get the whole "she's going through a rough time right now" and why that's holding you back from doing it, but it shouldn't.

What do you think it's gonna be sh*ttier? Dumping her while she's ALREADY feeling crappy about her life and her situation in it, or having her rebound from whatever she's got going on right now, THEN have you dump her and she has to go back to her dark place or whatever. I'm just sayin man...for your own piece of mind, and outta fairness to the both of you, just end it. Because if you hang in there while you're miserable, you're eventually gonna probably start treating her bad, then YOU end up looking like complete d*ckbag at the end of the day. So just pull the trigger man and get it over with.
