Meg has a question about why guys don't really want to tie the knot.
How come no man wants to marry anymore?
Answer: This is probably gonna be the most anti-chick rant ever, so my apologies ahead of time. But it's actually a pretty simple answer as to why dudes don't wanna get married anymore:
All of you broads are f*cking nuts.
No, not even an exaggeration. Trust me, I'd say about 9 1/2 (gotta rep the midget psycho women too) out of every 10 women should be put in a padded cell and given a ridiculous amount of happy pills. Like, enough happy pills to be laying on a table with your mouth open and drool pouring out of your mouth while you're fixated on one spot on a ceiling for about 87 straight hours.
Seriously though...the divorce rate is like OVER 1 every 2 marriages, you constantly hear/see/read about people's marriages being horrific, and mostly every person on the face of this earth looks miserable because they only reason they're married is to "stay together for the kids." I'm sorry, but if I get married, I actually wanna enjoy the lady I'm waking up to every morning, and not look over and realize how much I hate my life and hope I get eviscerated by a speeding bus driven by a drunk hobo while walking to work.
So, really...can you BLAME a dude for not wanting to go through all of that BS voluntarily? Question really answers itself with some common sense.
And from the chick perspective (because face it Jadd, not every guy out there has totally pure motives, either), maybe you're a perfectly nice girl and just dating complete assholes? Yes, I will concede that many girls are absolutely crazy BUT, if you're one of the good ones and are rational at least 90% of the time, you're probably looking in all of the wrong places to find a guy.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention, if you're going into every relationship looking for a possible marriage partner, that's doomed from the start. Just chill out, take it slow, don't over think and, most of all - do not bring up the "m" word for a very very very very very long time. Preferably let him do it first. It's safer that way.
Totally true too, Sam!! Thanks for the input!!
